Yesterday on my way to work I saw a homeless man walking down Vine. He was wearing knee pads and was missing his right leg. So I guess when I say walking, I really mean "scooting along on his knees." I was amazed that no one seemed to pay him any mind. I wished that I was walking in the opposite direction that he was so I would be face to face with him without being overly awkward. As it were, I turned around to look at him when I reached the end of the block. He had stopped and was cleaning someone's hollywood star with a rag.
